"Radiante"
2012
Printed on seasoned linen
44" x 66"
Something you quietly stole,
burning light
Flushed cheeks,
A crater of a smile
I am the scream that fears not
Once cursed, time runs out
Slipping through the fingers like silk
And I won't tell you how much I love you
And I proceed to break your world,
I am the relentless wind.
I don't care about tearing my nails, or losing my fingers.
I seek what was stolen from me
Among the flowers, among the birds.
